India’s number one luxury car maker, Mercedes Benz have launched the 2011 Mercedes C-Class. This time around, the German luxury car maker has almost simultaneously launched the updated C-Class both in India as also rest of the world. The company claims that now most of its products would have the same launch dates globally as also in India. MB India says that there are more than 2000 new parts to this car. The C-Class which had lost its sheen earlier due to the launch of new hotter arrivals which mainly targeted the youth faction, is set to regain its position with the kind of styling and detailing that has gone into this car.
The new Merc has got a Parktronic system which is useful when one has to park the car, brake lights which are adaptive, a light system which is intelligent and so on. Two petrol engines and two diesel engines are on the offer and the best part is that Mercedes have lowered the price of the car, variant by variant. The entry level petrol engined C-Class is priced at Rs 29.60 lakhs while the entry level diesel one is priced at Rs 32.30 lakhs. We have carried out a comprehensive review of the 2011 C-Class.
