Mazda has revealed an updated version of its exotic beauty Mazda MX-5 Miata. This revival is supported with a vision to roll out Miata’s successor by next year or by early 2014. The updated version is out in the Japanese showrooms with a sharper and more aggressive appeal. It is to be rolled out in the U.S. Market as well before the year end.
The updated Miata is a beautiful rejuvenation with a blend of sporty features in the exterior and refined characters in the interior. The exterior is accented with black soft top and silver power retractable hard top. The overall appeal is further beautified with visual changes like bigger grille on the front bumper, a new fog lamp design, an appealing lip spoiler, lightweight aluminium wheels and a new rear bumper.
The Mazda interior is made more impressive with a revised throttle for greater response and better performance. An active hood protection system further adds to the increasing demand of the car with respect to increased safety on road. Under the hood, the engine remains unchanged with an option of both automatic and manual transmission.
The updated version is a commendable introduction in the Japanese market. However, for the U.S market, the price and availability is still behind the cover.
