A unique as well as special version of the 2014 Ford Mustang GT, the 6th in a series to be auctioned for charitable trust, marks the sixtieth birthday of the United States Air Force Thunderbirds aerobatic team.
The Thunderbirds version is based on the Mustang GT glass-roof car and is equipped with a Ford Racing supercharger, suspension dealing package, Brembo braking system, Forgiato 22” wheels and Recaro seating arena.
The vehicle is painted radiant white with red and blue accents to go with the Thunderbirds’ F-16 Falcon jets. It also boasts front and back wide-body constituents by TS Designs and a handmade belly pan by Creations ‘n’ Chrome that also did the paint as well as trim.
The unique 2014 Thunderbirds Mustang will be placed for auction on August 1 at the Experimental Aircraft Association’s yearly AirVenture show in the city of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, with incomes to benefit the EAA Young Eagles association.
Earlier one-of-a-kind Mustangs made for the EAA public sale consists of the F-22 Raptor (in the year 2008), the AV-X10 Dearborn Doll (in the year 2009), the SR-71 Blackbird (in the year 2010), the Blue Angels (in the year 2011) and the Red Tails (in the year 2012).
