Hyundai i10 had given more to the Koreans than what they had desired from the Indian shores. Moreover, surfing through a long course of life than the expected one, i10 is now under the process of complete makeover and the newbie that was spotted in various Asian countries is now caught testing in Pune, exactly on our local shores!
Though, looking in from the perception of carmaker, it may be built to kill many birds with a single stone. Hence, new and bigger platform, more aggressive styling, should be able to take number of future moldings on its strong shoulders, and a whole bunch of ‘family’ responsibilities being trailed from behind. Looking at the spy shots it can be concluded, newbie will fill in all the tick boxes that the automaker had slotted for it to respond as per the present market scenario. In fact the technical expectations says, 1.1L diesel engine to acquire its bay, good enough for making 75bhp and 150NM of torque whilst of the petrol jag moving into the optional list.
Talking about product positioning, we learnt, Hyundai may cater this new product between i20 and i10, hence some also said to be named as i15.
Well, not known till date how the future is going to surprise us but we expect something better than the present generations, and biting enough than what it can chew. The picture which one can see over here is taken in Pune and the model possesses number plate of MH12 which means the ARAI official maybe sitting inside for test rounds. Hence the Hyundai may bring in a big bang in this year, as recently the next generation Santa Fe also caught testing in Chennai recently.
