“Is India going to occur in 2014? Probably not,” Ecclestone told media people in Hungary. “[It’s] really governmental.”

India will become host of its 3rd GP in October 2013. In a statement, Vicky Chandhok, head of the Federation of Motor Sports Club of the country stated, “It has been overleaped. They are currently functioning on 2015 & 2016 contests.”

“When we inked the 5 year contract with Jaypee, we’re eager on going to India during the first half and Jaypee wished it to be during the month of October,” Ecclestone added.
