Longer wheelbase Range Rover had stirred the hype quotient of media for some time and gave us a series of spy shots. Disappeared for last some of the days, it now again had started doing test rounds, and may debut at Frankfurt Motor Show, as what this fresh spy shots says.
Bolded with very less amount of camouflage, the LWB version of Range Rover will surely have the longer rear doors, and the overall length of the car to be stretched by approximately 15 cm. Hence, due to the increased wheelbase, rear passengers will get more legroom and reclining seat with massage function as well as other hi-tech features.
New Range Rover is most probably said to be the cosmetic makeover rather than the technical one. Likely, to borrow the engine lineup from the ongoing model that means the V6 3.0-liter and 4.4-liter V8 diesels, along with a V8 5.0-liter supercharged petrol motor to be there in its bay.
The extended wheelbase Range Rover will hit the sales floor before the end of 2014.
