Many of the reports have pointed out what Skoda India has in mind for the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. The Czech company is expected to launch the new Yeti and the Superb facelift. Though the Superb facelift had been unveiled in Europe last year, the new Superb will make its debut at the Delhi Motor Show in India this year. The deliveries and sales of the car are scheduled to commence by mid 2014.
In order to spread word about the car in the market before it is unveiled, Skoda has been teasing car enthusiasts with the Superb facelift on the social media. As per the reports, it is also said that the company will be announcing the price of the car at the event itself. The car features quite a lot of notable changes. The refreshed Superb at the front will get new headlamps, fog lights, updated front bumpers and redesigned grille. The headlamps have been integrated LED daytime running lights.
While there are a number of changes in the front itself, the rear end of the car will feature redesigned tail lights with the license plate being incorporated on the bootlid. The engine of the car is said to remain the same as the previous model, as it will be offered either with the 2.0-litre TDI motor or the 1.8-litre TSI engine. At the moment there is not much information available about the car as Skoda is just trying to create a buzz in the market before it is launched.
