Tata Indica Vista of 2014 make was expected to be there inside the workstation of Tata Motors doing all the knick knacks to fit in the right gauge of carmaker’s repertoire. Instead of doing so, the same is caught doing test rounds on the road without any camouflage during the night!
However, we are delighted with our friends at Team BHP for lending us this uncamouflaged avatar of the 2014 Vista, because our hose of speculations wouldn’t have got better with the Tata when we could have tried drawing some of them while looking at the previous changes on the Indica badge. This time the Indian carmaker did a lot of job on the cosmetics to come out with a new sort of bug. We say the Tata Manza Hybrid concept that was showcased at 2012 Indian Auto Expo had lent tremendous amount of cues to its hatchback sibling for the 2014 makeover.
All the curves of Indica Vista had been shredded and it is now bestowed with sharper stances, reclining the woes of angular-looks to barge in and give a good blow to the upcoming competitors like new Honda Jazz and many more.
Platform used for the 2014 Indica Vista is the same of ongoing generation, hence we expect engine specifications also tend to be doing the calculations with the ongoing jags. 1.3L liter Fiat Multijet turbo diesel engine in two states of tune, 75 Bhp-190 Nm and 90 Bhp-200 Nm, whereas the petrol ones to fray in the 1.2L capacity. In addition, there is also a 1.4L diesel engine present in the specifications of present generation Indica Vista, but we hope the latter one to be doing not so well due to the government’s regulations regarding BS norms in metro cities.
Well, the final conclusion is yet to come. Till then one has to wait for 2014 Delhi Auto for the Tata Motors to say exactly what the new line-up they were reeling when the so-tough days were clouded on their heads.
