The current BMW F20 1 Series will turn 4 next year and will get a conventional redesign of Life Cycle Impulse from its creators. That means, we will probably get rid of the curious, ugly fish look the current model has. This summer, the German automaker will be revealing the redesigned 1 Series hatchback. Theophilus Chin renders the 2015 BMW M135i, the M Performance Automobile, which was labeled as one of the hot hatchbacks in the market. The render shows 1 Series Facelift with heavy influences from F22 2 Series Coupe, starting with redesigned headlamps and front bumper. The F20/F21 models have proven to be very successful for the company with 188,184 units sold worldwide last year.
According to sources, the redesigned BMW 1 Series will feature mild design update and not inherit the 2 Series Coupe design cues. The idea is not to compromise the distinctive look of 2 Series Coupe. The new family of engines, B38 and B37, will be providing power to the 2015 BMW 1 Series. Along with B47 four-cylinder powerplants, the 3-cylinder engines will give lower consumption levels while offering plenty of power for 3and 5-door hatchback models.
So, stay tuned in the next few weeks for the official unveil.
