2015 Hyundai Verna Receives 7-Speed DCT In Korea

It can be a joyful moment for the Koreans, as Hyundai launched the Accent (Verna in India) with its in-house made 7-speed dual-clutch transmission there, and that for the diesel trim.

Verna which was launched in India way back in 2010, and since then given only a mere amount of upgrades, where Hyundai India is gearing up for a facelift launch for the next month. This sedan of carmaker received huge fanfare from around the world, whereas the fifth-gen launch in its home country is looked upon.

Under the bonnet it stored a 1.4-litre VVT petrol and 1.6-litre GDI diesel engine. Going with the latter first, it produces 140PS and 166Nm of torque, where the for does only 100PS.
