These days India seem to be getting the hub of International products as the newbies could not tend to stop themselves from pouring in on our local shores. Hence, now we got our hands on a car that is going to be a part of the international auto brand, but it is sorted doing test rounds in India. The bespoken model plate is ‘2015 Land Rover Freelander’ and is spied testing on the streets of Kerala. Though, we can also witness that it is wearing the number plate of Kerala state itself, which means something fishy going on inside the organization in terms of testing speculations and such.
To be specific, the spied metal was doing rounds on the tarmacs of “Trivandrum” where basically the research of centre of Tata Motors i.e. ‘Tata Elxsi Research and Development Center’ is located. We must say that this version would be in the tremendous need of technical support, and hence took the helping hand from none other than the parent company (Tata). Meanwhile, some websites also claim that the new generation Land Rover is seeking assistance in software arena of the vehicle, which we hope may be true to an extent.
It is learnt, 2015 Freelander would be based on the stretched platform of Evoque and would also derive option of seven seater rather than the five seater capacity in outgoing models. Moreover, it is also said to become be a part of the Discovery family in late 2014.
