If enticed to go off-road in India without splurging money on niche off-roaders, only a one options remains for such buyers, and that’s none other than the Mahindra Thar which we all adorn it deeply from our heart. But since the vehicle hasn’t received any update after the launch, after successfully receiving the new-gen Scorpio amongst the public, maker is developing the Thar facelift in its backyard to carry on the legacy. Numerous spy-shots earlier have already lent a rough picture how this off-roader will appear after the launch; now the clear spy-images had made way to the desk and it seems to be done with minor but important nip and tucks.
Firstly, the front bumper is reported to be a mix of plastic and metal. And the canopy of soft-top from rear is tilted slightly. The front passenger and driver get huge foot-step to enter the cabin. And the top-end trim of CRDe may get an extension of the fender as standard.
Moving inside the cabin, there it feels the off-roader is raised on the fitments standard; now being more sophisticated with the beige theme and also referred some cues from Bolero. Namely to say them precisely, dashboard gets treatment of dual shade, silver finish encircling the round AC vents, fresh instrument dials with three separate ring –all of them outlined by chrome. Naming the cues that Bolero has lent it, there comes the steering wheel, HVAC controls and handbrake lever. Apparently, the seats also appeared new, looking wider than before. Beige centre console houses hand brake, gear lever and the transfer case along with two cup holders if wished to sip cold coffee amidst hot fun on off-road.
