Toyota GT86, the performance car from the brand, received minor updates silently.
2015 Toyota GT86 gets a shark-fin antenna, new pearl-white and a new silver paint in the list for the model. On interiors, the dashboard gets a new carbon-fibre motif insert, for a more premium feel.
There are minute changes on the technical front too, but not under the hoods. It’s the suspension that got the retuning with a more rigid fixation, on front as well as rear. It is meant to make the steering crisper. The drive too is then improved in friction, delivering smoother and yet more communicative handling, with reduced body-roll.
However, changes are limited, Chief Engineer Tetsuya Tada said: “There is no reason that development should stop, only because the vehicle has gone on sale. GT86 is all about driver involvement, and we are committed to keep enhancing this aspect of the car. The 2015 Model Year delivers the latest status of GT86’s continuous evolution.”
2015 Toyota GT86 will go on sale in Europe this summer.
