Indians are always targeted by Hyundai with its latest offering. The last Santa Fe is a nice example, but one can see here is another example lined up to make debut in India at a later stage. What’s up for it is Hyundai has launched the Santa Fe facelift in Korea touted as ‘The Prime’. It has priced the flagship SUV in its home country between 28.17 million Won and 36.33 million Won, which sums up to Rs 16.14 lakh and Rs 20.82 lakh (approximately).
Exclusive chrome highlights, new bumpers (front and rear), subtle change on the grille, daytime running lights and guide light inside the headlamp cluster are some major amendments. Other notable changes include, the panoramic sunroof, LED strips inside tail lamps and 18-19 inch alloy wheels. Hence, one can say the exterior in not mostly changed, where refuting the claims carmaker said it has provided very small but attention to detail changes this time. Based on the said, inside cabin revisions are seen across the dashboard and central console. Mechanically, the SUV remains fit with its 2.0 and 2.2-litre diesel engines which are now improved on CO2 emissions. On the feature list of 2016 Sante Fe one can find Smart High Beam Assist, Dynamic Bending Lights (DBL), Advanced Cruise control, 360-degree camera, autonomous emergency braking and a luxurious yet very effective JBL Surround Sound system.
Thus, one can expect the India launch of new Santa Fe over the next year; apparently the unveiling may take place at Delhi Auto Expo 2016, with launch followed soon, just like previous model.
