Nissan flagged off the 2016 Maxima at the New York Auto Show. Prominently, a number of cues are seen new this time. V-shaped front, LED headlamps, hexagonal grille, fog lamps are some of them. The sides too get prominent creases; floating roofline compliments the design backed by blacked pillars (A and B), where the fresh set of 18-inch alloy wheels acts as topping over the cake. Turning to the back, wraparound LED tail lamps are intersected by a chrome strip, and dual exhausts look fabulous for a sports sedan like this.
The cabin, it gets flat-bottom steering wheel, Alcantara, and new 7-inch Advanced Drive Assist Display infused inside in the instrument cluster for a fresh feel.
Ambient lighting, heated/cooled seats option for the front row, Bose audio system, diamond-quilted Ascot leather seats, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, (Intelligent) cruise Control, and predictive Forward Collision Warning system are in the optional list.
Lift the bonnet, 2016 Maxima drives whole package by a V6 engine of 3.5-litre displacement producing 300bhp and 353Nm of torque mated to a new Xtronic transmission.
