Some photos shared in the Team BHP forum indicate that the new Hyundai Xcent has started reaching dealerships across the country. These images confirm that the car would have the new 1.2-litre diesel engine for the facelifted model.
The 2017 Xcent sedan gets a slightly different front fascia compared to the Grand i10. It has a large grille more in line with the 2017 Hyundai Verna along with horizontal foglamps, revised bumpers, new design alloy wheels, wraparound tail lamps, reshaped bootlid and new chrome bootlid applique on the outside. When it comes to features, the 2017 Hyundai Xcent gets new 7-inch AVN touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLink and Voice Recognition, Shark Fin antenna, smartphone holder and alternator management system.
The 2017 Hyundai Xcent petrol is expected to continue with the current model’s 1.2-litre Kappa four-cylinder petrol engine mated to the 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.1-litre U2 CRDi three-cylinder engine will get replaced by the 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine of the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10.
