Three new KTM Dukes have been launched in India – 2017 KTM Duke 390, Duke 200 and Duke 250. Launched at Rs.2.25 lakhs, the Duke 390 made a lot of headlines because of its substantial upgrade. It has sharp LED headlights and 1200 Superduke inspired design. Powered by a 373.2cc, 43.5hp, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine, the Duke 390 ticks almost all the right areas.
On the other hand, the Duke 200 hasn’t received such major upgrades. Now it’s BS-IV compliant and gets new graphics and orange wheels. However, the bike remains mechanically unchanged. It uses the old bike’s single-piece frame and doesn’t get the styling updates like the 390.
The Duke 250 has a lot in common with the Duke 390. It uses the same frame and the new, edgier design. But the 250 doesn’t get the all-LED headlamp setup and it also lacks the TFT colour display.
