Maruti has added Alpha trims on the Maruti Ignis AMT. Both diesel and petrol AGS variants are now available in Alpha trim priced at Rs.7.01 Lakhs and Rs.8.08 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
Until now, the Ignis AMT was offered in Delta and Zeta trims. The top end Alpha trim comes fully loaded with features such as 7-inch SmartPlay touchscreen AVN, automatic climate control, LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, puddle lamp, and driver seat height adjustment. Powering the Ignis is a 1.2 liter K12 Petrol and a 1.3 liter DDiS Diesel engine.
The former produces 61 kW and 113 Nm while the latter has a power and torque output of 55.2 kW and 190 Nm respectively. The Maruti Ignis diesel AMT has an ARAI certified mileage of 26.80 kmpl and the Ignis petrol AMT has a fuel consumption of 20.89 kmpl overall.
