Tata has added the Automated Manual Transmission option to its popular compact sedan Tigor. The five-speed AMT gearbox only available with the 1.2-litre Revetron petrol engine in top-spec trims – the XTA and XZA. The petrol motor offers 85PS of power at 6,000rpm and a peak torque delivery of 114Nm at 3,500rpm.
The Tata Tigor XTA has been priced at Rs.5.75 lakh and gets features like LED turn indicator on body coloured, electrically adjustable ORVMs, full wheel covers, blacked B-pillars, rear power outlet, ConnectNext infotainment system by Harman with four speakers, navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted audio controls and an LED temperature gauge.
The variant also has creep function and the Sport drive mode along with Eco and City. Other comfort features include height adjustable driver seat, adjustable front headrest, remote central locking, all power windows, foldable rear armrest with cup holders and a cooled glove box.
