Triumph has launched the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS at Rs.10.55 lakh. The RS is the top-end variant for their popular Street Triple franchise, this launch follows close on the heels of the Street Triple S that Triumph had launched earlier this year.
The Triumph Street Triple RS will make a pretty stratospheric 121bhp and 77Nm of torque from its Triple-inline powerplant. A whole 10 horsepower more than the Street Triple S. The engine is mated to a six-speed slipper-assisted clutch for faster shifts. To better reign in the power, the RS gets upgraded Brembo brakes and gets Showa big piston shocks in the front and an Ohlin monoshock at the rear.
The Street Triple RS will also get more features in terms of electronics. There is a 5-inch TFT full-colour instrument panel, the Street Triple RS will also get ride-by- wire, five-riding modes: road, rain, sport, track and rider. The standard ABS and traction control are in attendance as well, the rider can programme the instrument cluster in two themes and three different styles.
The Street Triple RS will also be available in two new colour schemes than the Street Triple S. We suspect that this will probably be Matte Silver and a glossy black.
