The second generation BMW X4 has been unveiled. With a coupe like roofline, the new model will be positioned between the X3 and X5. This particular model of the X4 will be brought to India by BMW.
Interestingly, the previous gen BMW X4 was not launched here. The new X4 shares a lot of similarity with the X3, which incidentally will be launched here in March this year. For international markets, the X4 will be powered by a range of petrol and diesel engines – a 2.0-litre petrol in 184hp and 252hp states of tune, a 2.0-litre diesel in 190hp and 231hp tunes, a 360hp, 3.0-litre petrol mill and a 326hp, 3.0-litre diesel motor.
But in its desi avatar, the X4 will share the engines with the X3, which means it will come with 252hp xDrive30i four-cylinder petrol, the 190hp xDrive20d four-cylinder diesel and the 265hp xDrive30d six-cylinder diesel.
