The 2018 MINI Countryman has been launched in India starting at Rs.34.90 lakhs. The car was first showcased here at this year’s Auto Expo and will come in three distinct variants – Cooper S, Cooper SD and Sporty Cooper.
Design wise, the new Countryman is quite different from other MINI models. The car has quite aggressive bumpers and cladding around the wheels for that muscular look. On this inside, it gets things like MINI’s latest iDrive infotainment system with a touchscreen, a Harman Kardon system, a head-up display, wireless charging and stainless steel pedal covers.
The car is powered by a petrol 2.0-litre TwinPower turbo engine and a diesel 2.0-litre motor. The diesel version is available in the Cooper SD trim only.
