A limited edition of the Polo 1.0, called Volkswagen Polo Pace, has been launched by Volkswagen in India at Rs.5.99 lakhs. The car is based on the Comfortline trim and comes with 15-inch Diamond cut alloy wheels.
But surprisingly, the Polo Pace has been priced Rs.11,700 cheaper than the actual Polo Comfortline trim. As far as mechanical changes are concerned, the Polo Pace will come with a smaller 1.0-liter three –cylinder engine producing a peak power of 76Hp and a peak torque of 95Nm. While engine output has gone up by 1HP, torque has gone down by a good 20Nm.
