The much awaited next-gen 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 has been revealed. The biggest update is that the new Dominar would be powered by a 40Hp single-cylinder, fuel-injected 373.2cc DOHC engine. Earlier the peak output figure was 35HP.
Peak torque though remains unchanged at 35Nm, but it would now kick in at 7000rpm rather than 6500rpm as was the case previously. Another notable update is the use of USD fork similar to that of the KTM 390 Duke.
A new suspension has also been added for better handling and ride experience. The optional ABS has now been made standard. All this update comes with a mere weight increase of 2kgs.
As far as cosmetic updates go, the new Dominar would be made available in a new bright green color scheme called Autoral Green. No information is available about the price of the bike, but with all the updates expect it to cost at least Rs.20,000 more than its outgoing cousin.
