Some patent images of the BMW Z4 have been leaked online. The car was announced as far back as 2015. The patented images show a car with swept back headlights, flat taillights and wide kidney grille.
From the images, it seems the car’s design has not been changed since it was showcased in 2015 as a concept. Mechanically the new Z4 would be powered by 2.0-litre four-cylinder and 3.0-liter turbocharged petrol engines with output capacity of 251hp and 355hp respectively.
Both the engines will come mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and have standard rear wheel drive. BMW has confirmed that the new Z4 would go on sale in March 2019.
