The Kawasaki Versys 1000 has been launched in India at Rs.10.69 lakhs. The bike was previously unveiled at the EICMA after which advance bookings for the bike begun here in India.
The Versys 1000 will sit at the top of the Versys lineup which consists of Versys 650 and Versys X-300. The Versys 1000 is powered by the same engine that powers the Ninja 1000, but the engine has been retuned. The 1043cc, in-line four-cylinder engine here delivers 120HP of power and 102Nm of torque.
Features of the Versys 1000 include LED headlight, semi-digital LCD console, an adjustable windscreen, Kawasaki Traction Control, Kawasaki Cornering Management Function, Cruise Control, and the Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System.
