The Swedish automobile firm Volvo has been coming in news on a regular basis for its technological developments and limited editions. Other than the buses and trucks of Volvo India, the Indian subsidiary has established itself as a luxury car brand as well in Indian automobile market. At present the company is attempting to extend its hold in the automobile market of India. With this aim in mind, it has inaugurated a new 3500 sq ft of showroom at Chennai. The showroom is located at Luxury Atrium, Express Avenue Mall in Chennai. On this special occasion, Mr. Thomas Emberg, the Managing Director of Volvo Auto India said that with the new showroom the firm would now be able to take care of its valuable customers with excellent retail products and services. He also expressed his gratitude towards the heavy encouragement and support given by the Indian consumers and committed a better customer assistance in the future which would further improve with time.
Volvo has recently come up with a fresh initiative that is known as ‘Designed AroundYou.’ Through this initiative the firm will design everything possible around the passengers and driver of the vehicle. The brand new showroom of Chennai will support this initiative of ‘Designed AroundYou’ by making sure that all the Volvo customers receive ultra luxury perspicacity when they walk into the showroom.
Mr. R.B. Sivaganesh who is the Executive Director of Artemis Cars commented, “That their firm is very fortunate to have come together in this venture with the Volvo India with a major target of this venture to make sure that the global perspicacity of the brand comes to its customers.” Volvo has a big series of cars to offer to customers in India while the firm keeps on adding new technology and elegance to maintain that particularity of its vehicles for personal usage. To add onto this phenomenon, the firm has just launched a limited edition of XC60 that is known as the Volvo XC60 Inscription. In the past Volvo contributed engine upgrade and technology to the sedans of S60, S80 and XC90, XC60 models as well. The latest engine that sits beneath the bonnet of these exclusive models is a five-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine that is potent enough of kicking out a top power of 165 PS with a massive top torque of 400 Nm.
