It was just the same day morning when we had rolled out the news about discontinuation of BMW M3 coupe, but now we are jumping with joy for same reason. It’s because the Worldcarfans had spied the 2014 M3 and M4 convertible doing test rounds in Alps, which slates the launch of new M3 will definitely happen very soon. However the M4 convertible may take time, but though the early launch of M3 is enough to handle the performance hungry people around the world.
Looking deep in the images, one can notice 2014 M3 is done with quad exhaust setup, while the M4 convertible was enjoying the climate with top down, also lugging around with optional M sport package.
Most probably the M3 will drive a six-cylinder, twin-turbo 3.0-liter engine wobbling out approximately 450 bhp and 550 Nm of torque. The 0-100 km/h sprint would get complete in 4.2 seconds, whilst the expected top-whack is 250 km/h.
Now enough of old wine now new one, we mean M4 convertible, may derive the 2.0L four cylinder by escorting 240 bhp and 435 Nm of torque. In addition, BMW may also give the convertible a bolder option of 3.0L with 300 bhp and 406 Nm of torque.
Frankly speaking, we did not have strong leads about the exact launch timing, but something is smelting strongly underneath the cover to weep out at this year Frankfurt Auto Show itself. We will update our portal soon whenever the tip will be received on same.
