The Porsche Taycan electric car has been officially unveiled along with all its technical specs. From what it looks, the car will set a new benchmark in the electric car segment.
The Taycan uses Permanent Synchronous Motors instead of the more usual heavier and less effective asynchronous motors. Although the car is quite heavy at 2.2 tonnes because of the weight of its battery, it has lowest center of gravity of all the Porsche car on sale today.
The two electric motors of the Taycan produces a combine output of 625HP and a peak torque of 850Nm. With all this power the Taycan hits 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds.
