The amusement for Honda by Amaze isn’t over yet. Made to record the automaker in the Guiness Book of World Records, Amaze clocked the top slot in the category of ‘Longest journey by a car in a single country’.
The entry-level sedan covered 23,800km across the length and breadth with Shantonil Nag and Bunny Punia handling its steering throughout.
Their journey commenced from Jodhpur on September 15, 2014, and lasted for 55-days touching more than 400 towns and cities. The 23,800km drive was pedaled with the road conditions like flat highways, coastlines, traffic-snarled city roads, mountainous terrains, and also the dustily spanked interior roads of India.
This drive was a part of ‘Honda Amazingly Indian campaign’ remarked to announce the fastest 100,000 sales milestone in the history of Honda Cars India.
Hence, it seems to be proven that Amaze withstands testimonies of reliability, durability and quality of Honda, whereas it also suits the country’s driving conditions which this drive has set the live example, said Hironori Kanayama, President & CEO of Honda Cars India Ltd.
