The company which is mostly known for building large commercial vehicles, today unveiled its own version of the Nissan NV200. Yes, we are talking about Ashok Leyland and its version of the NV200, the Stile. Although the Stile will share the same production line as the NV200, it will have a different engine than its Nissan cousin. The Ashok Leyland Stile will be powered by a 1.5 liter engine capable of pumping out 130 Bhp. Rightnow, the company is trying to increase the fuel efficiency of the Stile by reducing the engine output of the vehicle.
The Ashok Leyland Stile will be made available with a wide array of seating options, it will be made available with two and three rows of seating and it will also have a low floor to make ingress and egress easier for the passengers. The company is planning to build a cargo version of the Stile, which it can sell in the commercial vehicle market. There is a possibility that the commercial variant of the Stile will be CNG powered.
