After previewing it at 2012 Delhi Auto Expo, Ashok Leyland had once again unveiled the Stile in Chennai. Though the previewed vehicle and the unveiled vehicle is almost same, but following the trait of Datsun GO, Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Renault-Nissan Alliance and G.P. Hinduja, Chairman, Hinduja Group, had chosen to officially to remove the cover from it officially too.
The 7/8 people mover is nothing new but a rebadged version of Nissan Evalia. Disappointingly the brand is targeting the commercial operators with this vehicle rather than eating up the numbers on private owners’ side.
Interior is similar to that of Evalia, and the 1.5L K9K diesel engine is tuned to produce 75bhp and 185Nm of torque. The power from engine is transmitted to front wheel, and that 5 speed manual gearbox is expectedly set to help in achieving the enormous fuel economy.
Hence, no pricing and launch dates are announced, so don’t be annoyed to own a one very soon.
