Audi grabbed the numero uno postion of luxury carmaker in India recently. It now had been seen trailing off the efforts of Mercedes Bens and BMW, decided to go off-beaten path for retaining the same position in the long run.
Lest of the confusion, instead of following traits for hatchback launches here, like Mercedes Benz A Class and BMW 1 Series, Ingolstadt based brand decided of initiating the new starting point here. And in no mood of launching the hatchback in its Indian repertoire, a new entry level sedan i.e. Audi A3 will be making the debut on or local shores by next year or so.
Hopefully, that is also a new sort of competition for the carmakers in Indian context against the role of hatchback, delighting like always, spies of industry had this time had lent us fresh set of spy-shots for confirming, the A3 is still in consideration of Audi India.
Just like the last time, this time too teest-mule is witnessed without any camouflage. The badging of A3 is also seen missing from the car. And as usual the size of car and some minute knick knack here and there tells us that it is an “A3”.
Yet not many of the details regarding India specific A3 is pounded to us with the spy shots, but we expect technical specification more or less similar to what it is being sold in abroad.
