Audi A3 Sedan To Be Introduced In The Second Half Of 2014

Audi A3 sedan for India is set for launch by mid 2014. It will come in with a very competitive price tag for its base variant because it will be introduced as a CKD from the launch day, unlike in other case cases where automaker introduced first CBUs (completely built units) and then moved on to CKD (completely knock down unit). This would allow the automaker to price the new sedan aggressively against its forthcoming rivals. Showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo this year, the forthcoming A3 sedan is aimed at becoming the best selling luxury vehicle in India.

The all-new Audi A3 sedan is produced from the company facility in Gyor, Hungary for global consumption; while it is produced at the Foshan facility in China for local markets. For India, it will be produced at their Aurangabad facility. Placed below A4, the entry level luxury sedan, the A3 will be available in both petrol and diesel variants.
