Rather than inviting buyers with new models, Audi unveiled the fresh piece of engine from its desk at Vienna Motor Symposium.
The 2.0-litre TFSI petrol machine is available to snug into the next-gen A4 sedan. Followed by specific displacement of 1,984cc, it generates maximum power of 190bhp and torque of 320Nm. The torque delivery is available between 1,450 and 4,400 rpm which will allow users to access it fruitfully across the drive.
The next-gen A4 is reported to unveil by the next year for international markets. Going across the given data, entry-level sedan of Audi will sip less than 5 liters of fuel per 100 kms, which roughly translates 20km/l.
The new 2.0-litre engine weighs only 140kg and uses various fuel-saving techs like the shorter intake time, and reduction in time for warm up. The boost power of cylinder is enhanced, while the exhaust manifold is now directly integrated to the cylinder head. As per Audi, the car could attain 0-100km/h in a time of 8.3 seconds with the new TFSI.
Thus, more technical evidence shall come out only after someone will take the charge of steering wheel of next-gen A4.
