When Audi sets to put on the expansion, then noting comes in its way. That’s what the new showroom of this German automaker speaks of at Ranchi, Jharkand.
This capital city of an Indian state is also known as the hometown of famous car enthusiast and former Indian Cricket Team captain, MS Dhoni. Apart from the said, the city and its nearby locations houses numerous millionaires, so marking a presence will pay Audi some better numbers without spending too much on the investment as compared to metro cities.
However, showrooms in the interior towns of India had remained on focus since recent past for German carmakers like Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW to spiral their sales upwards in the future.
On the other side of coin, such extension also provides them with a perceived value in the mindset of buyers, where earlier the audience there might be unaware of this brand due to shortcomings of residing in nooks can cranny.
Located at Purulia road, the showroom is spawned across the area of 12,000 square feet, enough to house eight cars in the display. They said, the bay will host all the cars of India lineup. Alongside, the showroom also sees an extension where they sell the branded merchandise of Audi.
Joe King, Head of Audi India and Mr. Sandip Bajaj, Managing Director of Audi Ranchi and Audi Kolkata (Mohan Motors (P) Ltd.) inaugurated the outlet.
In the automotive industry, the presence is worthless without a service station in the nearby vicinity. After all, the cars are made to be serviced regularly and these German machines deserve special hands, where the guys at service centers can only understand better. The Audi service station in Ranchi is located at the same premise of showroom. Workshop occupies another 7,500 square feet of area with the capacity of servicing 6 cars every day running in a single shift on 3 servicing bays. The workshop is capitalized to take care of every problem. As integrated with the paint shop as well, buyers of Ranchi and nearby locations wouldn’t have to move from different post to pillar for the every glitch they face with their Audis.
