The four ringed German brand is on the top notch of its career, and why not, it posses those strides in itself which is needed to take the momentum on an incredible height. This time the piece of news is also strayed in its favor, which says, Audi had opened the first showroom in Orissa. Being inaugurated by Mr. Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India, Mr. Devjyoti Patnaik, Managing Director, Audi Bhubaneswar (M/s. Jyote Premier Pvt. Ltd.) and Indian Bollywood actress Ms. Lara Dutta, the new outlet is the first one in state of Orissa and the second step in expansion plans of Audi towards East India.
Speaking on the achievement of another milestone in success, Mr. Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India said, “Customers in Tier II cities are exhibiting an increased appetite for luxury and are appreciative of the sportiness, progressiveness and sophistication that our brand offers. Orissa is a key market for us and I am confident that Audi Bhubaneswar will play an integral role in sustaining the momentum that Audi India has created in reaching the pole position.”
It is just the present year that this Ingolstadt based luxury brand had achieved first position on Indian shores for niche bugs, which it has received good responses for the flagship model Audi R8 that is now being made available in abundant variants. With the passing days Audi is scoring more and more sales from Tier II and Tier III cities apart from the metros, which we seem is compelling the organization to make more of developments there itself rather than doing something interestingly in extreme urban jungles, for which the output of Orissa is termed as one of them.
Situated at Utkal Signature, the showroom in Bhubaneswar is spawned in an area of 11,500 square feet possessing capability to display 14 cars at a time on the sales floor. Adding more to the excitement, Mr. Perschke added in his official statement, Bhubaneswar bay equips all the norms and standard which showrooms of London and Munich are talked off in terms like quality and site.
Adding more to the Bhubaneswar plans Audi will set up a service facility in the period of next five months just behind the Cuttack showroom, precisely located at Bhubaneswar Highway (NH5). It will comprise area of 14,500 square feet, being able to service at least 15 cars per day with the facility of body shop and paint shop on the same floor.
On the other side of coin, case with the new showroom in Orissa is, carmaker will shortly embed that outlet with Audi Shop and Audi Exclusive Element so that Audi diehards can order their personalized yet authentic merchandise and can also go for the Audi branded goods at same time.
In addition to the louder grunts of four rings, the Germany originated luxury car brand says, it will open more 34 new dealerships by end of 2013 on pan-India basis, which most probably will be in Tier II and Tier III arenas.
“It is a matter of great pride for us to be appointed as an Audi dealer and associate with a winner brand like Audi,” concluded Mr. Devjyoti Patnaik, Managing Director, Audi Bhubaneswar.
