It’s very rare to see concept cars being tested openly on public roads. Certainly, Renault India had given its Kwik concept to some leading media houses for a short drive in India for after the Delhi Auto Expo 2014. But this time its Audi; officials would have remained more cautious about letting it for a media-drive and video-shoot on public roads.
However, a German media named as ‘Auto Bild’ had finally managed to please the officials and pulled out the Prologue concept for test-drive on the streets of Los Angeles following the motor show. Generally, the reason behind not letting off the concept on roads is they are loaded with delicate cosmetic details that aren’t affirm to handle the road shakes, which may cause automakers face heavy losses if be spoilt or ransacked.
