Audi India launched the new Q3 for a starting price of Rs 28.99 lakh. The compact SUV is rolled out in three variants: Q3S, Q3 Premium and Q3 Premium Plus.
Noting down the amendments carried out, one will find the fresh set of headlamps (LED optional), bolder front grille, larger air vents on front, new design for alloy wheels, and slightly quirked tail lamps.
However, the designer had infused changes only on outers, where the interior remains pretty much the same. Still, some amendments carried out are on the MMI system, steering wheel, instrument cluster and more.
However, Q3 for Audi India was an important product, and seriousness seen in its marketing strategies made the maker to roll out a Q3S with some luxuries dropped from list in order to meet the ground-stuck price tag of the buyer’s trend. And to our surprise it sold very well throughout, so the carmaker continued the legacy with the new model as well.
In the engine bay, one can find the 2.0L diesel engine producing the max power output of 174bhp after mated to a 7-speed S-tronic DCT gearbox with paddle shifters and traction being sent o to all-wheels via Quattro. The Q3S on its low-cost side parted away with the six-speed manual, front wheel drive and a less powerful engine of 138bhp.
Hence, this new Q3 is a part of the ten launches planned by Ingolstadt based carmaker for the country across the year. The forthcoming launches include new A6 sedan and the new flagship Q7 SUV, which the new Q3 looks like its compressed replica.
