Earlier this year, Audi Q5 facelift made its way to the Paris Motor Show and now it is all scheduled to hit the Indian roads in Jan 2013.
Better known as the Q5 PI (PI for Product Improvement), the new facelift version comes with the grille that now takes up the new hexagonal shape. The detailing on the grille has also been changed according to the engine inside the hood. The headlights have also received a new design with the day time running lamps, fog lights and the bumper has also been altered. The rear taillights have also received new and different LEDs and a new rear diffuser.
Just like the recently revealed Audi A4, the interior has also received slight tweaking and enhancements to improve the general finish and the feel of the cabin. We are also expecting the Audi Q5 facelift to appear with minor price correction as the new Q5 is expected to assemble in India.
Under the hood one can expect the same 2.0 litre TDI, another 2.0 litre petrol TFSI engine and another 6 cylinder 245 bhp 3.0 litre TDI engine that tops the segment. Audi is currently holding a discount of about Rs. 2 lakh on Audi Q5 facelift.
