The next generation Audi S1 will be unveiled next year. Exact timeframe of the unveiling is yet to be revealed though.
In all likelihood, the new S1 would come with an improved version of Volkswagen’s EA888 turbocharged 2.0-liter 254HP four-cylinder engine. The engine will be mated to the Haldex-style quattro system and will propel the car to 100kmph from standstill in just 5.9 seconds. The car would be underpinned by the new MQB platform which will see an increased use of composites.
