Nowadays the teasing business is catching up the carmakers in India as well. Following the trait of European markets, Audi had settled well with Indians too, and that’s why after running successfully the social media accounts it now had teased the 2013 RS5 for India via its official Facebook page.
Don’t worry; we already had the RS5 in the present-generation repertoire here but as per the carmaker, new one (i.e. 2013 specific) is tweaked a bit from here-and-there to pump out the refinements on performance side. It will be based on the coupe version of RS5, but in fact the upcoming newbie will be longer, wider and shorter than the aforementioned variant of same.
Undoubtedly, the normally tuned 4.2L V8 FSI petrol engine will engulf its bay, wobbling out the maximum power of 450 bhp of power and 430 Nm of torque. It will tease you with a flat bottomed steering that the Four ringed badge which you are driving certainly is not an ordinary Audi, but has some special temperament stored in its compartment that can blow up everyone else with its all wheel drive system (of 40:60 ratio) called Quattro mated against a 7-speed S Tronic gearbox.
One can take it to a maximum top speed of 250 km/h but on the request Audi will give out the chance to make most of it till the dragging of 280 km/h. The 0-100 km/h remains just a matter of 4.6 seconds for 2013 RS5.
Interiors too are decent yet sporty. The red accents running across black aura makes you drool in it. And yes, when we talk about the driving experience, pilot can gain his mood suited to three different driving modes namely Comfort, Auto and Dynamic, need not to forget the lap timer and oil temperature gauge are also there on the board.
