Kia India Launches My Kia App

The Korean auto manufacturer Kia recently launched the My Kia App, an integrated application for sales and maintenance of the vehicle to offer a digitised and hassle-free experience to their customers. 

The My Kia App will offer multiple benefits to its customers like scheduling a test drive, requesting a quotation, video consultation with technicians, service cost calculator, generating vehicle health reports, maintaining service history and lastly, tracking their status of bookings. 

In addition to this service, Kia has also introduced a customer reward program, My Kia Rewards, which is integrated with the My Kia App. 

Customers can avail their rewards in the form of coupons for restaurants, gadgets, lifestyle etc. 

On the launch of this unique customer service program, Kia stated, they have received a tremendous response till now with their unique product and sales offerings. With such initiatives, they want to bring digital innovation in sales and service, while offering higher customer engagement and satisfaction.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire S-CNG Launched

The much-awaited product from the Maruti-Suzuki, the CNG powered Dzire has just been launched at a price of Rs 8.14 Lakhs (ex-showroom). 

The Dzire S-CNG derives power from the 1.2 L Naturally Aspirated four-cylinder DualJet engine. The engine develops 89 HP & 113 Nm of torque while being driven on petrol. However, with CNG, the engine sees a power drop and it only develops 77 HP & 98 Nm of torque, but the drop in power also translates to fuel efficiency of 31.12 Km/Kg. The S-CNG is only offered with the 5-Speed manual transmission and it misses out on the AMT automatic.

Toyota Opens Bookings For The 2022 Glanza

The Glanza is a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Baleno, with the launch of the facelifted Baleno last month, Toyota has also announced the arrival of the Glanza, soon. 

The Glanza will remain identical to the Baleno in terms of exterior-interior design, features & engine. The Glanza will share the segment-first features like the Heads-Up Display and the standalone infotainment system. 

The Glanza will come powered with the ongoing engine unit, the 1.2 L Naturally Aspirated engine. This engine develops 89 HP & 113 Nm of torque. This engine will be offered with either a 5-Speed Manual or an AMT Automatic transmission. 

The booking amount for the Toyota Glanza is set at Rs 11,000 and it can be booked through your nearest dealership.

Kia Carens Recieve 50,000 Bookings

The Kia Carens with its introductory pricing had blown away not just the customer’s minds but even the people in the automotive industry. 

With the long extensive list of premium segment-first features, the customers were expected to make a run towards dealerships to book their Carens. And, that is precisely what they did. The Carens has already received bookings for more than 50,000 units. 

The top-end luxury and luxury plus variants account for 43 per cent of the bookings. Customers have shown an equal inclination towards both the petrol and diesel engine. While the brand has already delivered 5300 units in the month of February, they have assured the customers of delivering the remaining units soon this year. 

The Carens has been priced between Rs 8.99-16.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom), which puts it into a head-on aggressive competition with the best selling MPV of India, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. However, the Carens has been launched at an ‘introductory’ price, which means the pricing can increase in the future. Currently, the booking amount has been set at Rs 25,000 for the Carens. (Kia Carens vs Maruti Ertiga)
