Making it the first car in the auto industry to receive such large volumes of booking in such a short period of time. Overall, Mahindra has received more than 50,000 bookings. In fact it has even managed to shadow it’s own elder sibling the Mahindra Thar, in terms of volumes. It would be justified to say that the launch of Mahindra Thar had made not just the millennials but even adults with mid life crisis go nuts behind the Thar, and even then, it had managed to receive only 9000 bookings in the first four days of its launch. This is indeed a proud moment for the creators of the XUV 700. Mahindra says that to deliver such volumes, they will need a long production cycle, hoping they do not face any production challenges. As due to Covid-19, auto manufacturers have not been able to deliver their products on time, due to the supply shortage of key components. The XUV 700 is offered with a 2 litre turbocharged M stallion Petrol engine producing 200 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque & a 2.2 Litre turbocharged M hawk diesel engine producing 185 horsepower & 420 Nm of torque in the manual variant, whereas the automatic transmission gets an output of 450 Nm of torque. The XUV 700 is also offered with an AWD model, but in a diesel automatic variant only. The XUV 700 can be booked through your nearest dealership or through digital platforms at your ease of comfort.
