The resignation of BBC Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson had made the fans go in a tizzy. Followed by the departures of the other two hosts – James May and Richard Hammond – turned out into a complete disappointment for TopGear admirers. But for India, a wave of good news had just spread across. AXN has reported to air the Season 22 of show in India on Saturday-Sunday at 8:30 pm, starting from May 30, 2015.
Let’s not pool into the depth of story why those stars of TopGear left the show, but it will turn interesting to see them once again together on-screen in the final series. Reportedly, the trio in this season had travelled to Russia, Argentina, and Australia for making the script to pose a wider picture of driving pleasure. In addition, they have dragged out celebrities like Will Smith, Kiefer Sutherland, Gillian Anderson and Ed Sheeran off their luxury drives, and compensated them with a reasonably priced car to see their responses.
Thus, Indians are entitled to see the episodes which are already aired in other countries. But the channel denied airing the studio section for some reasons. Hence, an official release date is in the pipeline for the studio footages to be released, which in fact were produced shortly before those episodes were aired, and that seems the reason for delay.
