India is a land of emotional values and each Indian nurtures a relationship till the very end. This culture extends to the hearts of the biggest business tycoons here as well. Hyundai Motors Ltd is one of the biggest business houses in the country.
He is the leading car maker and one of the most successful ones. On this father’s day, 16th June 2013, Hyundai decided to spread the message of safety while driving with the help of students. A campaign, ‘My Daddy My Superstar’, is running in several cities throughout the country, asking students up to the grade V to participate.
The idea is pretty simple. Students from various A, A+ and B+ schools in major cities like Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Bangalore and Chandigarh were invited to be a part of this campaign. Students up to grade 3 were asked to draw a portrait of their daddy while those from the higher grade were asked to write about their daddy in an essay writing competition.
Around 400 students will be selected and their art work will be awarded to their fathers along with safe driving messages. All the students who became a part of this campaign will get a certificate as a token of appreciation.
This step was taken by Hyundai to educate fathers who are at higher risks of hazards due to faulty driving. It turned out to be a perfect way to celebrate father’s day. It also aims towards strengthening the father child relation, by allowing the child to express its views on its father freely. This also aims at making the fathers realize, that they have a great responsibility to fulfill and therefore, they should try to be as safe as possible.
Hope more of the influential people take such initiatives towards betterment of a common man’s life.
