British will praise the Brits, as they had no other options in the segment of most adored luxury cars. The Bentley Mulsanne is named as the Best Luxury Car at Telegraph Motoring Awards. Bentley Continental GT and Flying Spur claimed the runners-up title of segment, which was overcrowded by Bentleys only.
The award ceremony was held at a gala event in Central London, where winners was chosen via Telegraph Motoring online poll.
Commenting on the achievement, Kevin Rose, Bentley Member of the Board for Sales, Marketing and Aftersales said, “Bentley is the most successful luxury car brand in the world, and our sales have been growing fast both in the UK and globally. It is particularly rewarding to be honoured by the British public in our home market, so it is with real pride that we accept this award.
“Every Bentley is handcrafted by our skilled and dedicated team in Crewe, which makes each car a true luxury possession. On behalf of Bentley Motors and our 3,700 colleagues, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that voted for us.”
Bentley Mulsanne is the British automaker’s flagship model. It is a luxurious four-door sedan powered by the Bentleys vey own and legendary 6.75 litre twin turbo V8 engine, with 505bhp, slated to complete the 0-60 mph sprint in just 5.1 seconds, and rated to go on to a top speed of 184 mph.
Recently, Bentley also announced a ‘Mulsanne 95’ its 95th anniversary edition, limited to 15 units and restricted to British customers only.
