BMW X3 got a makeover from the students of Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research – not in the terms of facelift, but on the modifications needed for daily utility.
Changes made can be spelled in terms of – sloped roofline, and a new tailgate with a power retractable glass rear window. The retractable side-wise splitting tail gate made way easier to the boot space.
Though, the concept was designed to be a low-volume variant. It can cost a whopping $8,000 more than the standard model.
