BMW has launched the F 850 GS Adventure in India at Rs.15.40 lakhs. BMW GS motorcycles are adventure tourers and Adventure versions of GS bikes sort of takes it up a notch. The F 850 GS Adventure costs Rs.2.45 lakhs more than the standard F 850 GS. Added features include a 23-liter tank, which is 8-liters more than the standard F 850 GS.
This also results in weight increase of the bike by 15kgs to 244 kgs. Other features include adjustable rear brake and gear levers, a bash plate, knuckle-guards and an adjustable windscreen. Power source of the F 850 GS is a 90HP 853cc inline-
twin-cylinder engine.
