Chevrolet Beat facelift remains on the hot cascade when talked about upcoming Delhi Auto Expo 2014. We guess the Beat was the first model plate to revolutionize diesel engine in the times of soaring petrol prices for the regarded segment. The wait for its facelift now seems to be getting over, and we received spy-shots on web portraying two facelifted test-mules spotted in “India”.
Regulars here would remember, last week reported about the Beat facelift doing winter test rounds somewhere in Europe with heavy camouflages, now the spotted ones have shredded a lot of them and are revealing the changes to be seen only on the ‘front grille’ and ‘front bumpers’. No other changes, apart from said can be seen. In fact, the rear door handles which were placed onto the doors for those European-spotted Beat, remains inside the C-pillar on test-mules of our shores.
However, spotting these test mules is not the confirmation for it to be making foray into our fraternity, because both of them are the ‘Left-hand drive’ variants, and it may be possible that the European-version would do its business on our shores.
Confronting technicalities, the Chevrolet will continue its legacy with 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre diesel engine, and a LPG variant in India. Till the Delhi Auto 2014 arrives, stay tuned to our website for more automotive stuffs.
